Hello

Don't get too excited, this website is less of a public service announcement and more of my personal home on the internet. My name is Candi. I like to pretend that I was a semi-important figure to this music during its internet explosion in early 2000's. I was way young, about fifteen or so, and I had the scene at my fingertips through extensive forums and a bad clothing line. Now instead of promoting bands and making a name for myself, I've withered down to making the occasional band flyer and whining about my life on Myspace. Oh, how I have fallen.

So I'm still a graphics designer of sorts, and I still believe this music made me who I am today - but spending a ridiculous amount of money at Full Sail and going to classes instead of shows has put a new perspective on life and made me realize that things that matter most to me. I'll never, ever lose sight of my ultimate goal of getting the hell off of the computer and being on the one on stage.

Updates

I always have the urge to work on the website at this time of night (morning?) Might as well make use of my time off, though! Happy Holidays, everyone. And no, I'm not trying to be politically correct.. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa to all who celebrate.

The galleries have been updated! Finally. I'm working on something for the videos - hopefully a player to hold them all on one page instead of you having to download them all to view them. Like my own personal YouTube. Hopefully I can accomplish the same thing with the music section - some kind of music player. Hopefully. Again, I'm not very good with Flash. But I have resources here at Full Sail and I intend to use them.

My portfolio is finally done. You can view it here. More updates to the site will follow shortly.

I don't know why I have an update section because I never update my damn website. My friends are right - I spend all of my time on Myspace. I just like interaction.. and here I feel like I'm always talking to myself. I used to have a comment section on my old website, but I feel like if I add one here people would just say things like "wtf" and "get off your lazy ass and make that Flash game already." Alright, alright, I'm on it. The portfolio will be up soon. And by soon I mean soon because I have all of my pieces together and I just need to get into a nice workflow to get them uploaded. Stay tuned, lovers.
